Padres lose 4-1. Time to tighten this up.
Nobody likes to lose to the Dodgers. Even worse is losing to the Dodgers in the presence of Dodger fans who are their own breed of something or another. If you're reading this, Dodger Fan, I'm not really talking about you. It's more in generalities and vague stereotypes so don't get offended, though I'm pretty sure I am talking about your asshole of a sister.
Padres drop two!? We need to do some breakfasttime work tomorrow, bitches.
GO PADRES!!!

St. Louis got swept st home by the Astros last week.
The talent gap between those teams is greater than the one between the Padres and Dodgers.
Does it suck? Yes. Does this team have significant problems that need addressing? Certainly.
Is the season over? Not by a long shot.

I agree
But if we appease the gods with a sacrifice…. that can only help, right?
I nominate Mad_Villain. His negativity is killing our buzz
Last night sucked, I hate Dodger fans more than anything
They are the scum of the earth, have zero smarts, and no courtesy. I was sitting in section 120 and the Dodger fans clearly out numbered Padre fans, by a lot. They kept waiving their my town towels and other stupid stuff. Really? This is your town? NO, go back to LA where you belong. Unfortunately for me, my future wife lives in LA so I do too. With that being said, I will be at the game Thursday in LA. Please Padres, don’t put me through that again.
As for the actual play last night. It was pretty much garbage. Adrian can’t hit, Kyle keeps striking out, and Yorvit is still on second with no outs. Gotta get more hits than 3. Hopefully we can turn the tide and win today which I think will be huge for our psyche going in to the Giants and then Dodgers series. I think we win in a blowout today.
GO PADRES

Lost in all this
is that the Dodgers are now exactly ONE (1) game over .500, whereas the Padres have the division lead…still.
Nobody likes losing to LA, but at least we’ve got a little cushion.
The Padres are good, but make no mistake: we've gotta beef up the linwup.
If I had a nickel from every SBN blog that has banned me, Arrowhead Pride would owe me 5¢.
When winning is a must
Every disadvantage to the opponent becomes advantageous to the cause.
the Los Angeles Dodgers found out that star hitter Andre Ethier has a broken bone at the end of his right pinkie.
Ouch.
If he was any kind of man,
he’d get it amputated, rub a little dirt on it and get back in the linwup. So selfish.

Umm maybe it's just me
but, as a girl, I definitely would not say something like that.
"I'm a Padre at heart. Always gonna root for the Padres. Twenty-five years [with this organization], how can't you? Next year I'm gonna be rooting like a son-of-a-gun for these guys and for Blackie ... I'm gonna be rooting for the next general manager here, rooting for the city, the fans, everybody. I think a lot of San Diego." -Kevin Towers
