  • Catching platoon working well for Padres | padres.com: News
"Obviously, we're in a situation where we have two really capable guys," Hundley said. "It's a great competition. He's played great and I feel like I'm making my strides toward being a better catcher.

  • Padres outlast Giants 3-2 - SignOnSanDiego.com
"It’s unusual, (considering) the way we’ve been playing this year," said Padres outfielder Scott Hairston of the high LOB total. "I believe it was more a case of them making pitches when they had to, but we made them work for everything."

  • Stauffer makes right appendicitis call - SignOnSanDiego.com
"He had himself diagnosed," said Hutcheson. "He said, ‘I think I have appendicitis.’ "

  • insidethepadres: Beerfest
"We had over 1,500 people enter the Park at the Park gates at 4:30 and the PATP filled to roughly 5,000," Garfinkel said, admitting: "It was much bigger than we planned."

  • PADRES NOTES: Correia to return Saturday?
"As we move forward, we're thinking he might be able to make it," Black said. "I can't speak for him, but if I was to guess, he's looking forward to pitching."

  • PADRES: Pitching Panache
"You've got to give credit to their pitching staff but our staff did the same. Most teams would love to have that many opportunities.

  • Left on Base, Right on Time – Ducksnorts
"The franchise record is 14, which happened on August 25, 1979, against the Pittsburgh Pirates in a game that took 19 innings and more than six hours to decide."

  • Padres Stauffer headed to DL after appendectomy

    Nothing here new

Friar Forecast is waiting for our “inevitable” implosion. Yawn. Blanks is having problems making contact with the ball. Yawn. We have no offense. Yawn.

Only interesting things are that Geoff at Ducksnorts has gone from pissing on cheerios to giving fun stats, and Padres are having random DL visits for reasons not related to Albert Poo-holes.

See. This is why I didn't grow a May beard.

It’s been almost 2 weeks and you’ve got like a cool guy, Johhny Depp/Christian Bale thing going on. After two weeks without shaving, I look horrible. My beard grows super thick and grizzly… not cool and trendy. Stupid Italian genes.

    I was thinking something similar

I’ve shaved at least 2 or 3 times in May, but my facial hair looks a lot like what’s in the picture. Mine doesn’t get super thick and grizzly. It just grows really fast to start and slows down.

No, I don't think you're an idiot. Please don't go trying to prove me wrong about that.

I believe Curb' Has not reached puberty

Thats how I look by 5 o’clock. If I was doing the May beards… I would look like a Stone Age throwback by now.
