JBox and I were chatting about this and the nice thing about this Padres team (so far) is that they're beating the teams that they're "supposed" to beat. I know that these guys are all professionals and what not and even the worst teams in the league can put a bunch of runs up on any other team, but still...
Like, we were both really nervous about the series against the Reds. That's a team that we should dominate if we're as good as we say we are. In past seasons, with our "good" teams, we might've been pleased with a series victory over the Marlins, but we would've been really perplexed by a series loss against the Reds.
Anyways, my notes:
- The Hairstons showed up all over ESPN tonight for the terrific outfield assist at third and for the amaze throw deep in the shortstop position. They crazay.
- The Padres have what amounts to be an actual good showing against Doug Davis. My reverse psychology worked!
- The Padres also had an unstoppable relentless small ball attack. Nothing but singles for big damage. Joe Morgan will have something to say about this team when we make our first Sunday Night Baseball appearance and it will annoy Padres fans to no end.
- Wade LeBlanc is a hitting machine.

I'd recommend Flickr over Photobucket
Less annoying than Photobucket, and you can email the photos directly to Flickr from your phone. Then just add the IMG tags to a fanpost and you’re set. Or just link people to the Flickr set to view.
There was some reason I switched to Photbucket from Flickr
