Padres convoy rolls over Reds "10-4 Good Buddy!"

Seven wins in a row for our Padres! 1st place... in the National League. What a difference a week makes.

Kevin Correia was throwing a no hitter through 5 1/3 innings until somebody forgot to "Keep the Faith" somewhere in Breakfasttown
Anthony Gwynn Jr. was batting something like .133 entering the game, but swatted a 2 run homer and ran out an infield hit.
Adrian Gonzalez hit the first bases loaded pitch he saw for a Grand Slam that put the game way out of reach. Yay! It was his first Grand Slam since Game 163. Boo!
Sean Gallagher entered the game and did everything short of grabbing a bat for the Reds to try and help them get back into the game.

Just finished watching. It was an awesome game. Good to see TGJ get a few hits, as well as Jairston and some of the other guys who needed them. Agon was soooo due a blast and what a nice one.

Free Russell. If he gets picked up on waivers /shrug… we still have some depth with Cesar Carrillo and Young should be coming off the DL in a week. If he passes through waivers, he can work out his problems in AAA.
