Adrian Gonzalez: "We will be winning this division and I'll be wearing this uniform."
Here's the video that was discussed yesterday. It's somewhat shocking to see Adrian so direct and opinionated. He's usually so wishy washy. I like this Adrian.

“The Padres figure to be taking all calls, even though Gonzalez is a San Diego native and the one reason left to buy a ticket to Petco.”
F** you, Tony Paul.
I actually feel that the padres starting lineup is just about as good as
any other teams in the division. we got the best player in in the western league with Adriane, and I mean best by far. if our 3456 hitter have average to good years, I think we’ll be alright offensively, of course anybody could say that about there team.
I think if the top end of the rotation stays intact I think we’ll be over 500, meaning CY is able to complete a fiull season without injury, which would probably be asking for a bit much from him, since he does pitch on stilts.
The dodgers have leveled off, and the Giants still need another bat to get them over the hump. If it wasnt for that nasty long term deal they signed Zito to… I bet he feels like a real ass****.
now, If ehadley can hit above 280, his OBP should be around 100pts higher, that will be more than enough to counter the loss of “the Tree at three”(Kouz). I dont think people could really quantify the liability Kouz was in the line-up the first half of the season. It was pretty automatic for him to whiff at the low and away slider on any count, and his swing at the first pitch fastball was getting really old. the guy had an amatuer approach at the plate.
I already penciled in blanks for 25 homers this year, with a 280 average, that is if he stay injury free.
now, the only thing is to keep TGJ out of the line-up. we need Venable to get comfortable out there in right. I really think he has a future with this club. He just glides to the ball out there. and his swing is so good for doubles, he’s a perfect guy to bat 6th in the order, and even looks like he has some good average potential wtih the direct plane he takes attacking the ball.
now, all we have to do is wait for the next wave of prospects to make there way through the farm system, and preto chango!
Do you look over your comments before you post them?
Because you should. I mean come on, Adrian with an “E” at the end?
I just want to get paid to draw naked girls, is that so much to ask?
yeah, I know, I just assume people will get the gist.
I promise to be a little more concerned with those who read my diatribes from this point forward; as to not undermine my own thoughts and ideas on such matters that they, and I, take so passionately.
Well, he's wrong
Because they won’t be wearing their Spring Training uniforms after April.
