Somebody should write a FanPost on Torrealba. I have no idea what to say about this signing.

The Padres and the 31-year-old free agent apparently agreed to a one-year contract that will guarantee the nine-year veteran $1.25 million. Torrealba would get a $750,000 base salary this season with a $3.5 million mutual option for 2011 with a $500,000 buyout.
