Stauffer,Gallagher & Mujica

are all out of options – there is so much to find out on all three. Is it feasible to think that all will be on opening roster with one in the rotation ?

I don’t think that they would want Stauffer in the pen. I do think they would put Gallagher there. Mujica seems like a lock for the pen at this point. If Gallagher wins the 5th starter spot, then I think they may try to sneak Stauffer through waivers back to Portland. Either that or work out a “I’ll trade your failed 1st round pick that still has options and looks pretty bad for our failed 1st round pick who is out of options.” There is a chance that Stauffer makes the rotation, as a sort of last look-see before they bring back up one of the younger guys, but he seems to me like a guy who is on thin ice.

I'm the first person to admit that I'm wrong about a lot of things, but I'm going to be the last person to admit I'm wrong about what we're currently talking about.
