interesting use of stats.
their defense metric seems to be off kilter for Adrian, but it was a fun read.

There is a positional adjustment for the defense metric in DiamondView 2.010
So far the 2.010 version has only been used for the NL West minus the Dodgers and by comparison Adrian has been the best 1B so far:
Adrian Gonzalez, SD: 34
Todd Helton, Col: 33
Adam LaRoche, Ari: 13
Aubrey Huff, SF: 6
I can’t find the actual percentile for the average 1B, but it looks to be just a little more LaRoche. Let’s say 15.
