Since the Padres MLB payroll sits at $38.025 million as of today, reading Center's interview gave me hope that the Padres are not done with free agent signings.

Agreed
the guy needs to pull the ol’ bobblehead out every once in and play with it. Seriously, relax. It’s just a game.

I always enjoy his blog
Don’t always agree with it, but I think he does a very good job.
Agreed...
He is a fine writer and has been a Padre fan so long that he has great comments about obscure players I thought only I remember. But I read blogs to feel good about my team or at least convince myself into thinking some kernel of info is hope. I feel like every posting has some phrase like “Could the Padres having a winning season and go the the playoffs? Sure, and I could win the lotto, and kiss Chrissy Russo… but I wouldn’t count on it.” So I leave feeling alike a beat up 6th grader.
