All-time non-Padres

PrintLet me try and make some sense of this. I am asking your help to create a list of the all-time non Padres roster. These are players who either began their career as Padres (drafted by the Pads, spent time in the farm system or who began their careers in the pros here and spent less than 5 years here). These are the players who we sent off and went on to have good or great careers elsewhere. I only have a few thus my request to get this list completed.
1B - Derrek Lee
2B - Roberto Alomar
SS - Ozzie Smith
OF - Shane Victorino
OF - Jason Bay
P - Joakim Soria
P - Oliver Perez

the PCL Padres basically WERE the farm system though
it was only natural that he would move on to bigger and better things (i.e., Major League Baseball).
Teddy Ballgame doesn’t count because the PCL Padres’ job back then was to develop players, and then they’d move on. Sounds kinda like what they do now har har
Padres drafted Todd Helton in 1992 but he chose to go to college at Tennessee instead.

Actually, the '93 Phillies rode a bunch of our castoffs to a pennant.
Kruk, Larry Anderson and two we drafted but never played for us; Mitch Williams and Dave Hollins.

Great suggestions. Almost got a full team. I can’t seem to find some starting pitchers though since Ollie Perez never really panned out, though I still think he could have been great
