Red Sox Adrian Gonzalez looks much happier than Padres Adrian Gonzalez
Look at that smile.

He sure does look happy
I’m happy for him, hope he does well.
Can’t wait to go to the Angels-Sox game this year.

When did Adrian get teeth?
Were those part of the trade?

Pretty happy guy.

I can't wait to see this guy rake in Boston
More exciting though would be Casey Kelly’s 1.00 ERA in his rookie season. Dude pitches in Petco, it could happen.
If I was your math homework I'd be really hard and you'd be doing me on your desk.

Curious to see his defense too
I have seen it raved about. Used to love the extra defense Maddox would give.
This is a terrible thing for the Padres. - Jerry Coleman
He used to be a shortstop
and converted to pitching full-time last year. That speed and reflexes will be evident on the mound.
I only saw him play once, the rest is just stat lines to me, but what I saw was pretty phenomenal.

Maybe he's the SS we've been looking for -
pitch every fifth game, play SS the rest of the time and have someone else (Cabrera) play the 30-35 he doesn’t start. Oh Hoyer, you’re a genius.
TBD

Just his first season
And he’s not your SS of the future, he’s got good range, but he put up a sub-.300 OBP in single-A, his future is definitely as a pitcher.

We'd better keep him out of North County.

When I was watching the press conference this morning
My mom walked into the room and said, “I can’t tell if that guy is smiling or not. Actually, it looks like he’s crying”
I giggled.

Good luck to him
He was a great player, but he was never going to sign here, not for 180 million dollars over 8 years. I’m just glad we got SOMETHING for him. And a decent something it was even if it’ll take years to find out how decent.
Just curious
We all liked AGon because he was the Padres best player, but was he anybody’s favorite player?

He was never my favorite player
Dude has zero personality. I enjoy Heath Bell the mostest. If they get rid of him I will be pretty bummed.
Oh internet, what a wicked web you weave.
I'm a D-norf guy
but my brother really liked Adrain Gonzalez.

Wait till he sees all the undocumented Irish in Boston
The Padres are good, but make no mistake: we've gotta beef up the linwup.

Are you saying he won't make the AL all-star team for Boston?
It’s true he’s almost a lock in San Diego, since there has to be at least one Padre on the NL team, but they’re still playing the AS game in Phoenix. I wonder how his boycott will look in Boston?

He/she might have forgotten about the ASG
and was alluding to the Red Sox having ST in FL.

I have to say....
I don’t think I’ve ever seen Adrian look so happy. I sorta hate him now.

Of course he looks happy. He thinks he'll be
in the WS every year. Fortunately for us, our man Jed has a plan! Last year, his very first, he turned a $38 million payroll into 90 wins. I can’t wait to see what he does with a payroll that begins with a “4”!!
I wish Adrian remembered how he was nothing more than an expensive turd until KT and the Padres snagged him
Ehhhh, I don't deserve a signature...
well pooped put
I drink therefore I am.
