What Went Wrong: Padres 2010 Season Review Part Two
"Bud’s a great guy and a good manager, but he has presided over two of the worst collapses in franchise history in just four years. Coughing up a 6 1/2 game lead in five weeks is a black mark on any manager’s resume, and combined with the final-week collapse of 2007, provides some grim homework for Black as he prepares for 2011."

Tate on track after overcoming obstacles | padres.com: News
After a series of setbacks, including a myriad of injuries and illnesses, it appears outfielder Donavan Tate, the Padres' first-round pick in the 2009 First-Year Player Draft, has finally found his footing as a professional.
Unfinished Business: Happy Birthday, Trevor!!
"This year was a big one for Trevor as he got his 600th save with the Brewers. But he only got 10 saves total this year, which was not that great. He blew a whole bunch and then was demoted from his role as closer. I think the years are finally catching up with him, but he's still an amazing guy. "

well,
that was fun
"Over? Did you say "over"? Nothing is over until we decide it is! Was it over when the Germans bombed Pearl Harbor? Hell no!"
Hopefully Tate can put his injuries behind him
and stay injury free next year while being productive. I’m excited to see what Tate and Decker can do in a full healthy season.

Hopefully Bell wins the Rolaids Relief Man
which is an award thats based on statistics instead of fan voting. It seems to me that he would win, though I’m much too lazy to figure out how many “tough saves” he has. If Heath wins it again this year, it will give the padres their 8th which would lead the NL.
Rolaids
takes all the laziness out of it and figures it out for you. It’s updated all season long too.
