The article paints a sympathetic picture of him.
Believe me, I was a 12 years old playing in all stars as a third baseman when he won his MVP. Cammy was the man. I tried switch hitting until high school because of him. One of my favorite ballplayers. I’m just not that sympathetic to him. I’m sympathetic to his girls and wife. I do feel bad that he was a life wasted… I’m not a mean person. I just don’t think it’s “too soon” for a joke.
