Around the Mission: 1/24 Padres Links
Dex and I aren't really sure how crazy we are about "Around the Mission", even though you voted your love for it. I was thinking about moving it over to a daily FanPost, even though that is supposed to be your area, but you guys don't use it that much and it gets kind of stagnant over there. Dex thought maybe we should just post the 3-5 best links of the day rather then everything we find.

Around the Mission may not get a lot of comments...
but that doesn’t mean people aren’t reading it. It’s a convenient way to keep tabs on all Pads-related news and it’s one of the main reasons I come to GLB. That and to see Axion insult people using funny pictures.

What do you mean, "you people?"

Isn't it enough to know that I ruined a pony making a gift for you? ◔ヮ◔

Aside from the funny
Sarcastic comments, the links are the only reason I come on here. It’s very convenient. It’s not like there’s any detailed analysis going on around here……

Awww, I'm sorry Dex.
just a little bit of tough love I guess. You guys have no idea of how much of a promoter of this sight I am. I don’t comment much, kinda like to lurk in the shadows. Watching…. Waiting….. And then I apparently strike and rip peoples souls out. Man I’m a d*ck…….

Keep it as it is
I always love when my blog gets posted on “Around the Mission”. Plus, I’m able to check out other great Padres blogs around the web, which is a plus.

while you guys are arguing about what the mission should be...
i’m reading this shit…
and Bill Center just put Donavan Tate at #7 on the Pads prospect list…
I get that it’s based on
results, potential and proximity to the major leaguesbut c’mon… doesn’t the fact that
his ceiling is very highmake a difference… I’m with Sickels (who ranks Tate #1 in the Padres system) in
trust[ing] the tools and San Diego’s approach to hitting instruction with [Tate]? Maybe i just put too much stock in Sickels.
mission accomplished.
very interesting...
the top 3 is a pretty good “consensus” … Castro, Tate and Decker.
if Center had those three in the top, it would have been much more believable.
mission accomplished.
daily links
there are a couple of sites that offer daily padre links. Friar Johns, and a few low budget padre blogs. You guys are the only ones that put any thought into the links. I read it daily via reader, and i hope you guys don’t change a thing.
