Sometimes I forget that our shirts need a ton of explanation:

My brother loves shirts like this

But I’m not sure it’ll make sense if he wears it around the Bay Area (where he lives now). The #s one is vague enough that someone will ask “What does that mean?” whereas this shirt would beg the question “Why is San Jose/Mountain View/San Francisco a breakfast town?” if he wears it up there in his stomping grounds. Anywho, I’m debating whether it’ll be a good bday present or not.

I'm the first person to admit that I'm wrong about a lot of things, but I'm going to be the last person to admit I'm wrong about what we're currently talking about.

The bay area city isn't the breakfasttown

I am the breakfasttown!

My only concern would be that I already have a few too many brown shirts.

Might i suggest just "Breakfasttown"

in the baseball lettering, and a number ..

Design nit pick

Can it be this? I slid the Welcome down and to the left and moved the USA up slightly.

I don't want to emulate LA

in any way, shape, or form.

There's a fine line between emulating and mocking.

Although, I’m really not sure on which side of the line this shirt falls.

How are those shirts?

I still haven’t gotten one yet. They hold up reasonably well?

by jbox on Jan 25, 2010 9:36 AM PST up reply actions

Yep

The brown ones especially. The black one got faded after a lot of washes, but I guess I owned that one a lot longer.

Need to bookmark the store for payday.

I see a breakfast town t-shirt in my future.
