Padres demoralize the Dodgers 2-0

Oh, what's that, Dodgers? Oh it's just the Padres? Anybody could sweep the Nationals?

I'm not really sure how Wade LeBlanc managed to do what he did today, but I'm going to say that he did it on purpose. Wade going 6 strong and handing it off to a solid bullpen including a 4 out save by Heath Bell. Good game all around.

Padres have won 8 out of the last 10. Let's finish strong, boys! Who all's going up to LA to snicker at the Dodgers while they get beat by a last place team? Not me. But i figure someone else might.

I have to be honest...

I was home and turned on the game, and saw that LeBlanc was pitching so I did chores. I figured I would check in later and see how bad it went. I never thought we would win this game, It simply brings a smile to my face to see this.

If tose fail, I will resort to drinking heavily and acting like crazy Padres fans. And they ignore us, haha.

I'm not sure if anyone noticed or even cares,

but we’re only a game behind the D-Bags for 4th place. Perhaps we can finish somewhere other than last in the division by year’s end.

Finish Strong?

What do you mean "finish strong? OUR Padres have been doing that for five weeks now ! Look back to July 27th, when the team was 38-62, 24 games under .500. That was the low point of the season. Since then OUR Padres are 22-14 ! We got a winning ballclub on our hands ! The record would be even better if somebody could figure out how to beat the Cards. But forget that. We got a winning ballclub !
