Only 21 millski commited!

Save a million right off the bat by getting rid of Luis Rodriguez and Edgar.

I’m genuinely excited to see what KT will do this offseason.

"Get on board early," Black said, alluding to, what he feels, is a crop of up-and-coming players.

What if he calls Jason Bay?

Can we get some "real" speed?

If we’re going to have a huge ballpark, wouldn’t it be a good idea to look for speed and defense as a fundamental aspect of our team? Speed can’t be taught. While I have no hope that we will compete with other “payrolls” in MLB, I would love to watch my Padres wreck havoc. Bunts, stolen bases, defensive range, etc.

Don't we have some here?

I think we have more then I’ve seen since 2006 with Roberts and Cameron. Gwynn, Cabrera, Durango are all pretty fast. And the only real guy with speed I see in the FA market is Chone Figgins – i’d love to bring him here but he’ll cost quite a bit of money.

The team has GOT to get rid of either Kouz or Headley, they’ve got to clear up this ridiculous clutter. Probably trade Heath Bell because he’s worth so much right now.

And dare I say it; Carl Crawford or BJ Upton in a Pad uniform?
