Wow, they sound as if the Padres are heading nowhere. Interesting to read an outside perspective.

They mention a Bell for B.J. Upton swap in the comments there.

Which sounds AWESOME to me. We’d have to give more than just Bell but if the Padres can get that done I’ll be a happy fan.

uhm, Why is he talking about a city in France???

, the real threat for San Diego fans isn’t even on the playing field but in the Legislature in Sacramento, and in a place most San Diegans could not find on a map: the City of Industry.

You fool

Everyone knows City of Industry is in China.

Well I just lost a few brain cells from that

No research
No interviews
No comments
No brain cells
No intelligence
All stereotypes

Just what I wanted to read

Hmmm

That seems to be the dictionary description for “Los Angeles”

A kid who has a unicorn ranch in his room cannot call other people weird. Yes, we know about "Rancho Unicorno."

Ever since the Newspaper industry started dying,

This is the quality of journalists they get, even at big papers. Did anyone else notice that he quoted Walter Mitte? Perhaps of the Secret Life of Walter Mitty? He probably made up all of the quotes, though he may know someone named Tim Garfinkel.

Remember that time

two NFL franchises left L.A. and the citizens joined hands at the county line to form a human chain that prevented them from leaving. That was really special.

(sorry i dont know how to do the block quote stuff)

Garfinkel was sitting beside New York Mets General Manager Omar Minaya during a game at Petco Park when an umpire made a questionable call on Padres rookie shortstop Everth Cabrera. For several innings, fans razzed the umpire.

Minaya was taken aback. He is accustomed to moxie from hard-core Mets fans but not from Padres fans.

“I was real proud of our fans,” Garfinkel said.

Im glad this shit doesnt go overlooked, cause its about all I can contribute as a fan. Thanks for noticing, Tom.

Also, LA sucks.

DODGERS, RED SOX, YANKEES, BRONCOS, PATRIOTS and RAIDERS all suck. Especially the Dodgers.

blockquoting

It’s the blue quotes between the strikethru and link icons below the subject line. One to begin and one at the end with a “/” between the “<” and the “b”.
