Padres skunk Nats 7-0 to complete the sweep

Jared on Twitter tells us that this is the first Padres sweep since May.  I'll take his word for it since I haven't really been paying attention to Padres baseball since May.

I credit this sweep to the magic balancing broom.

The Padres scored 5 in the 5th with a butt load of singles and doubles.  I couldn't tell you exactly what happened since I wasn't watching or listening, but in my mind it was glorious and it took a real team effort.

Less than 15 thousand fans

at the game today. I know its a day game against the Nats but that’s still pretty pathetic.

We need more fans at the games. Problem is, I see it getting worse next year.

Or witches…

Also – if I’m the reporter assigned to cover this story, I shoot myself before I even leave the station.

Drama is an a-hole.

It should have been stopped before then

When the one told the other to get the camera, she should have just grabbed the broom and started beating her with it.

I'm sooo behind...

just got finished watching this game.

Nice win. Nice sweep – but really – (bottom 8th) bases loaded and no outs, we get ONE run in – and against the rest of the bottom of the heap?!
