Padres take the loss while most of San Diego watches the Chargers
So we lost the first game of the series. We still have a good chance at winning the other two games, right?
In other news, on days when the Chargers also play, Drama will basically be the only person commenting in the open threads. Such is the way of the world.
Interesting line of the night, Tony Gwynn went 3-5 with a strikeout bunting. I mean, really.
Another interesting thought. When Adrian Gonzalez is on the base paths, he moves station to station. Maybe a pinch runner every now and then would make sense. Just sayin'.

I had the game on PIP
sometimes, if that counts.
And I posted, too, but really I was focused over there.

Uncommon Sportsman :: Absurdity in play
Like I said, I hate nights like these.
Because I have to choose Chargers over Padres. It breaks my heart.

I commented hard.
I was watching both games simultaneously but the Pads are my preference… just know that if I’m not commenting it’s not the Bolts, it’s the alcoholism.

Who's to blame more?
Anthony for his inability to bunt or Bud Black for his inability to realize it? I say Black and I would even if the player was named Jim Smith.
