The weird thing about this game: Heath Bell blew another save. The second one in two nights. I saw KT diving dumpsters shortly after the 9th inning. Bell's good as gone next year.

Tim Stauffer had a good game today. 6 IP, 3 H, 1 ER. 

Was I the only person who was surprised to see Jason Giambi batting? Probably so.

Tony Gwynn should let that beard grow out into something long and wise. He'll need it as the pounds start dropping off lest he lose some of his camera presence.

Did anybody find a photo of the woman in the black top? I'd like to see what was going on there for science reasons or something.
