Texas League (AA):

Rockhounds lead Series at (2-1) Best of 5

San Antonio Highlight:

In the 9th inning the Missions tried to rally. Mitch Canham walked with one out. Seth Johnston and Anthony Contreras both singled to load the bases. Eric Sogard followed that up with a single that drove in a run and Cedric Hunter topped that with a 3 run double to bring the Missions within a run. Sogard and Hunter both finished the game 3 for 5. Hunter is 6 for 12 with a HR in the series.

Game decided by:

In the bottom of the 3rd the Rockhounds had a 4 run rally that put the Missions down for good. The inning was highlighted for the Rockhounds by back-to-back HRs off of Nathaniel Culp. The first was a 3 run blast by 1B Josh Donaldson and the second a solo shot by RF Matthew Spencer.

Midwest League (A):

Tin Caps win Series (2-1) Best of 3

Fort Wayne Highlight:

Padres 2008 1st round draft pick, Allen Dykstra, hit a solo home run to lead off the 5th inning. He also walked in the game.

Game decided by:

The Tin Caps rallied back from a 4-2 deficit in the 8th inning. It included a Travis Hansen triple, a Dan Robertson walk, a Jaff Decker walk, an RBI single by Vince Belnome and a 2 RBI double by Cole Figueroa.
