So about that Open Thread: 9/1/2009 Pads vs. Nats

I told you guys nobody would be watching this team in September. Feels good to say, "I told you so," to nobody, by the way, in case you wondered. Try it sometime. The comments field would be a perfect place.

Today I noticed they changed the appearance of links. I'm gonna tell myself now that I'll never forget how it used to be, but I expect that to last until mid-tomorrow.

One inning already happened, but nothing happened in the inning.

I only just finished watching

yesterdays game. There seemed like a decent crowd… a nice turnout because it’s a team we have a chance to beat maybe?

I was told to stuff it by a dude named Curb your Enthusiasm..

simply because Headley rocked his 10th homerun in his 484th at bat after I had berated him for his ’09 lackluster performance.

I saw that

I also tend to get upset at Headley, but I’m still under the impression that he’s just trying too hard and that once he relaxes a bit (and I know he’s already had plenty of PA’s) he may be worth keeping around.

stick Salazar in LF 1/2 of time

Salazar has showed a lot of power in limited MLB action. Though he’s 30 years old, I am just curious enough about him to see him get some starts in LF and let Headley sit & learn (and think a bit).
