Anybody see the first pitch?

My coworker was throwing it out and I can only hope that he bounced it 30 feet in front of the plate.

Changeup was looking good until that last pitch.

He seems to be using it a lot, and its got some good sink, but he needs to establish the fastball..

Yep.

Guess there’s not much you can do about it, when a bad hitter chases a pitch out of the zone and somehow not only makes contact, but hits it to a spot no one is.

Biggest thing he needs to work on is efficiency. Would have been nice if he could have at least gone 6.

I’m chalking this up to inexperience and being out of practice. I’m considering him essentially a rookie.

With all the new arms we've picked up

I’m thinking he’s gonna have a hard time cracking the rotation next year. Continuing to have good outings like today though will be in his favor. At the very least, he could be a long reliever and make spot starts in case of injury.
