Scott Hairston Interview (MP3)
Hairston talking about how happy he was to be traded to San Diego and how differently he feels being traded to Oakland. He's going to miss the people of San Diego the most. I'm bummed out just from listening to how sad he sounds. Somebody take his belt and shoe laces from him.

Did you notice?
How the interviewer asked Hairston why he was traded. Hairston talked about pitching, nothing about money.
Then the interviewer said: So you think it was a financial decision?
WTF?
This interviewer, I forget his name, always has an agenda.
Of course he does
One of the main appeals of him is that he cuts to the chase instead of tiptoeing around anything sensitive.
Other than his dumb rant about advance scouts, his agenda is usually the one the fans want to hear brought up.
Memo to baseball managers: You manufacture runs by NOT making outs, not by making them on purpose.
He just said he was proud to be a padre
i’m really gonna miss him now
Smoke big green, call it Bruce Banner
I don't even like admiting
that I root for them anymore.
I liked Hairston
He wasn’t my favorite type of player, but he seemed like an overall good guy, and a good 4th outfielder.
Loved him.
One of my favorite players. He’s said before how much he liked being a Padre. I wish he was still here.
