I hate that this is the roster breakdown

But it had to be done after Sunday night and no days off until the All Star break and our top 3 relievers (Bell, Adams, Mujica) all being worked hard. Oh, and Silva taking the mound. Unfortunately, we had a close game and Meredith/Gregerson couldn’t hold them. But, at least we are in better shape to hold a lead if Correia or Gaudin pitch well the next couple of games. I mean, how could the Padres have known that with Silva on the mound the game would be close at the end?

Memo to baseball managers: You manufacture runs by NOT making outs, not by making them on purpose.
