Just in time

That's Kouz.

No Manny?

Manny, really? What’d you tire yourself out playing rehab games in the minors during your suspension? BOOOO-F’ing-HOOO.
I’m originally from Boston, so maybe I’m just double-biased here, but, c’mon, isn’t it a little early for him to be taking games off? I was about to try to go to the game today, but my hangover from America’s birthday told me “Not so fast,” & now I’m actually glad. Sweating out a keg of Coors through my sunburned skin, AND not being able to yell at Mann-breasts the entire time? No, thank you – I’ll just turn on the television, and hit the mute button.
Manny, earn those giant paychecks you never cash. Now that you’re allowed back in the Big’s, how about playing some ballgames? Or are you too wistful over your past days with Inland Empire?

by matthewrobertwheeler on Jul 5, 2009 3:08 PM PDT reply actions

It's not really his choice

Torre has declared that Manny is not ready to go full games yet and will also given him a day off at least once a week. I don’t think this is Manny’s choice.

I was there

Amazing comeback in the 9th inning, we made broxton look loke a joke (well, i guess it was mostly him walking the yard).

We really blew it in the bottom of th 9th and in the bottom of the 10th by not just putting it away.

Scott hairston popping up was probably the most deflating, aall the energy just left at that point. Of course he was traded after the game.

It was a great game though, as far as I’m concerned the dodgers suck if it takes them 13 inning to beat our patch-worked team.
