They’d love to add Heath Bell, but the Padres asked for Cameron Maybin AND Andrew Miller. Unless the price comes down the Marlins are out.

KT wanted an obvious win for the Pads and wasn’t going to trade Bell unless he got it.
Memo to baseball managers: You manufacture runs by NOT making outs, not by making them on purpose.
It's nice to see
the Pads asking for the moon for these guys. It tells me they aren’t trying to move them just to move them but if the offer is right they’ll be open to a deal.

I don’t see how this can be true.
Buchholz, Masterson, Anderson, Westmoreland, Lowrie. That’s not 3x the asking price for Halladay.
If it is, it’s insane that Halladay hasn’t been traded.

I hate them all because they are Dodgers
if they are in a Padre uni then I’m cool with them. They are all young, legit MLB guys and it would take a hit on the Dodgers MLB roster. I’m not saying this will ever happen but it’s where I would go with the Dodgers just to screw them over.
