I'm good with
Gallagher resting the rest of the season. No point in rushing back this season.

You might want to add
The latest (and long awaited) DePodesta post. He is basically announcing that Sean Gallagher has been acquired as the PTBNL in the Hairston trade.

Really?
The official noted that Boston has pitching prospects to entice the Padres enough to at least consider what has so far been unthinkable for them: trading arguably their most popular player since Tony Gwynn.
As much as I can’t stand the guy now I’d have to bring up a certain closer who used to be here and is now currently in Milwaukee.

Couldn't find anything better to do
than to come on the board of a terrible team and gloat about how much better your sub .500 team is?

A better word choice would have
“Couldn’t find anything better to do than to come on the board of a terrible team and taunt them?”

I really really don't want to give up Adrian
But if Boston (who has probably the richest farm system out there) severely overpays for him I really can’t argue with trading him especially when we have Blanks to step right in at 1B. We will miss his glove but not his speed.

Here's what I think would be a decent package for Bell from Anaheim.
Reckling, Conger, and Kendrick/Morales.
That would give us a starting LHP, a catcher, and a MLB-ready 1B or 2B.

Ummm
that is wayyyy to much to give up for the Angels. Don’t get me wrong I’d love to have any of those 3 but when you say “decent” package I think you are understating it a bit. Reckling was on the Futures all-star team and has a 2 something ERA in AA currently. Conger was hitting .300 last time I checked. And have you seen what Morales is doing this year? The guy is mashing. Kendrick struggled for a bit, was sent down, but has turned it on a bit since he was recalled. I like where your head is but I think you’re shooting for the moon on this one.

Also, the Angels standard operating procedure in trades is:
“What, you want us to give up top prospects for your All Star? You’re joking right?”
