Josh Geer has inspired me
In the four or five times in checking the score of the "game"( I use that term loosely these days), I have come to two concrete conclusions.
#1 Josh Geer needs to be sent down... NOW. Buddy should have pulled him in the first and put him on the first bus to Portland. I chose a bus because it would possibly delay his next appearance and spare the Portland fans a night in which the game is over in the first. Also, he has whiplash from all those homers and I want to punish him with a 18 bus ride from Cincinnati.
#2 See above.
Also, who thinks that Brandon Phillips would look great playing second at Petco? I know I'm dreaming but that is all I have left at this point in the season.

I think you overestimate the caliber of pitcher we can call up from Portland
The best we can do is bring up LeBlanc again. How does that sound?

That's not terribly fair to Sean.
He’s had very limited Major League exposure. Plus his upside and talent level is far and away higher than Geer’s. Pitching in PETCO and working with Balsley will help him immenseley.

Deep down he knows that
It’s just funnier when you put it like he did.

should have had geer pitch to adrian in the homerunm derby
he would have hit 30
His ERA in Portland is worse than Geer's major league ERA
What does that say?
I think I’d rather try LeBlanc again than rush Inman to the majors.
