Pad Squad Carrie signs a book deal

Pad Squad Carrie's book "Still Standing" will be released in November 2009.

I wonder if Pad Squad Carrie needs a ghostwriter. I see this story as a young woman's strange journey from the Pad Squad to Media Darling. I could also provide illustrations.

Now she will tell her side of the story, answering such questions as what happened behind the scenes at the pageant, why she answered the Perez Hilton question as she did, what really led to her losing the Miss California crown, and how she has been forced to battle the left’s double-standard on free speech and the bias against conservatives - particularly conservative women - who stand up for their beliefs.

The title

“Still Standing” should be the title of her book if her career were in boxing, or even being a ringside girl. May I recommend “Still Slingshotting?” How about “Still Opposite?”

Please provide illustrations, use crayon.

I just don’t think her situation deserves a book.
i also don’t think Elizabeth Edwards or Amber Frye deserved book deals either.

Looks like she’s learned a lot from Perez Hilton about being a media hound and making the most of her 15 minutes of fame – chaching! She should thank him at this point! Good for her I suppose, though you couldn’t pay me to read the thing.

Free speech? Last I checked she wasn’t in jail for anything she said.
