Awesome not only did the Padres not do their homework and not know about his hip...
but they also don’t like his swing….

Absolutely unbelievable that they didn’t know about his hip when, as a local kid, info would have been readily available (I believe there was a NC Times article regarding his hip way before the draft) and then for Fuson to say he’s got a crappy college style swing…..did they not even scout any of his ACC games?
The Padres draft players sometimes like I draft my fantasy football team…..by reading a magazine and falling in love with numbers.
