History doesn't repeat itself but it does rhyme

If only we had a top prospect to give Adrian a night off to rest his less-than-100% leg.

Fair enough

He is close, afterall. I’d hate for Adrian to come 15 seasons away from the record and get needlessly yanked from the lineup.

Agreed.

How can we deny him of that opportunity?

That's why

Black’s in the dugout and we’re in our mama’s basements.

Black

I wonder if that was solely his decision?

No Kouz.

Headley at 3rd. Could this be a sign of things to come?

yes

Memo to baseball managers: You manufacture runs by NOT making outs, not by making them on purpose.

My guess is....

he’ll start, get an AB and then sit for the rest of the game.

KT said that he is at 80% and might get an AB in his 1090 interview so that seems like the logical thing to happen & keep the streak alive at the same time.

Wait....

did I just say logical? Since when is risking further injury to a young superstar by trotting him out there for an inning or 2 to get closer to the Padres consecutive games streak logical?

I meant to say going off of KT’s words that sounds like what the Padres will be doing tonight. My apologies for working and posting at the same time.
