Padres still not naming all 12 members of new ownership group

Remember back on March 26 when the Padres held a press conference regarding the sale of the Padres?  There is video of the press conference but it's heavily edited.  As I watched live, I noted that Moorad seemed to get annoyed when he was pressed for names of his ownership group.  At the time he said he'd only name a couple because some members didn't want to be identified.  He went on to name 11 of the 12 members.   Shortly thereafter I asked Who is the elusive 12th member?

Here's another question: when SignOnSanDiego listed the owners they said he only mentioned 10 of the 12 members.  Is Moorad included in the group of 12?

1 Jeff Moorad Former CEO of Diamondbacks and Former Player Agent
2 Troy Aikman Hall of Fame Football Quarterback and Moorad's partner in NASCAR
3 Wayne Seltzer Businessman, lives in Rancho Santa Fe
4 Al Baldwin Developer, San Diego
5 Robert Piccinini CEO of Save Mart Supermarkets (Modesto) and Moorad's partner in NASCAR
6 Tom Davin CEO Panda Restaurant Group, Rosemead, and Moorad's partner in NASCAR
7 Richard Barry Financial adviser, Northern California
8 Dan and Denise Costa Entrepreneur, lives in Modesto
9 Patrick and Joanne Graham Occupation Unknown.  Residents of Rolling Hills near Los Angeles
10 John M. McEvoy Founder, The Mobile Solution Corp., San Diego
11 Jay D. Stein Businessman and attorney, lives in Indianapolis and Phoenix
12 ??? ???

I can't find any information on Patrick and Joanne Graham except they have a son that played baseball at UCSB.  Guess who's getting drafted?

Yesterday I did some detective work and emailed the Padres asking for a complete list and I received this response today:

Thank you for your inquiry.  At this time, this information is not being released to the general public.  Mr. Jeffrey Moorad, however, is at the point of this ownership group.

I love a good secret society, whether it be the Bilderberg Group, Skull and Bones  or the San Diego Padres.  I'll stay on this investigation.  If I suddenly disappear, then you'll know who is responsible and that something nefarious  has happened to me, either that or I got bored of blogging.  It will be one or the other.

Secrets secrets are no fun, secrets secrets hurt some one

nope

At Thursday’s announcement, Moorad finally ID’d some of the other owners, a group that includes former NFL star Troy Aikman, Panda Express restaurant boss Tom Davin, local homebuilder Al Baldwin, Phoenix/Indiana businessman J.D. Stein, NoCal money manager Rick Berry and CEO of Save-Mart supermarkets CEO Bob Piccinini, as well as local businessman Wayne Seltzer and cell-phone honcho John McEvoy.

no In-N-Outs within 3000 miles of the East Coast

Is that an unsuccessful chain? The guy clearly has enough money to devote some of it to buying sports teams.

In-N-Out Burger in Tucson

is only 1,730 miles from Jacksonville, FL. Just sayin’…

DODGERS, RED SOX, YANKEES, BRONCOS, PATRIOTS and RAIDERS all suck. Especially the Dodgers.

he wears no pants, unless he goes swimming, then he puts on swim shorts and takes off his shirt…

That is odd.

Grahams

The kid actually graduated in 07: http://ucsbgauchos.cstv.com/sports/m-basebl/mtt/graham_andy00.html

Only other thing I could find was this article from the Modesto Bee that says the Grahams live in Rolling Hills, near LA: http://www.modbee.com/sports/story/689215.html

The real question is..

when do they actually own the team? What kind of wacky deal is this? You either own the gd team or you don’t.

Knowing vs not knowing

i am just trying to figure out what difference it makes either way.

I’d be more curious as to how man of them got ripped off by Bernie.
