"On the micro-level aspect of it, that didn't involve the clubhouse, but I really felt soured by that."

I don’t understand this sentence.

I read it 10 times and still don’t get it…I guess he felt abandon by the Padres Organization. But honestly, having the team determine if you are “disinterested and aloof” versus having medical behavior issues is asking a lot.

Just finished it.

It needs to be made into a movie. The vending machine bit is priceless.

meh it was ok

kind of felt like a made for TV movie, would be good on ESPN or HBO but I dont see it doing well on the big screen. Although with Brad Pitt staring in it I could see it doing well.

Solid script, IMO, but I think I know what you mean

It needs to tell a bigger story — one that people can get into and actually care about. Creative editing can take care of that though…

Also, most movies that do well on the big screen are f_____g b______t.

Giles on the DL

I heard he refers to that knee as his “Spankin’ knee” for when the ladies get too uppity.

Maybe they can fix his bat while they’re at it.
