Open Thread, 6/10: Padres vs Dodgers vs Beachballs

San Diego Padres at Los Angeles Dodgers, Jun 10, 2009 7:10 PM PDT

That's a lame beachball dig at the Dodgers. It's lame because it's all I've got.

Kevin Correia goes for us today on three days rest . The last insult to the injury of the 18th inning loss to the Diamondbacks. At least we'll be able to tell if Correia has the makeup to help out in a short series should the Padres make the playo-HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA. Oh man. I almost made it through the sentence without laughing.

By now you've had the chance to observe a couple of days worth of MLB Draft action. Thanks to Wonko and SD Steve for facilitating the whole thing.

I'm predicting a win tonight. I have no good reason for this prediction other than I feel it in my gut.

Not incredibly surprising

But still. Juan Pierre doing this, even for a third of a season, might be the most surprising individual story of the season. I could be wrong, of course.
