Around SBN: 2012 Budweiser Shootout Entry List Released

Despite leading the MLB in home runs, Adrian is not one of the players listed on the HR Derby ballot. I don't believe this means that he won't get selected anyway, but its still a travesty.

Darren mentioned this on the radio the other day.

This is incredible.

The real slap in the face is that a guy currently serving a 50 game suspension for cheating is on it.

Major League Baseball is run by morons.

Major League Baseball is run by old dudes

who don’t know much about marketing.

"Get on board early," Black said, alluding to, what he feels, is a crop of up-and-coming players.

Good

I seriously don’t want to see him in the derby because it seems like guys have a tendency to get their swings screwed up – particularly guys like AG who aren’t really hr hitters to begin with.

Drama is an a-hole.

agreed

The Professional is not a HR hitter……..they just make the parks too small for him.

He doesn't have much of a swing...

The balls are just terrified of him and want to get as far away as possible.

Ichiro Sukuki

I have heard the rumors that he hits them in batting practice, but how the hell does he make the list?

Ichiro in the HR Derby

means triple the ratings for the event. So what if he only hits one home run, his mere presence draws twenty-fold the attention.

true

maybe he will hit a bunt home run

Alex Cora should be in the derby.

Granted, he’d foul they first nine off for outs before he hit one, but still…
