What? WTF?
Has anybody actually read this article???
The Padres will have two of their most recognizable figures from their past sitting at their table June 9-11 when they pick for the future during the 2009 First-Year Player Draft.
Former Padres pitchers Woody Williams and Jimmy Jones will represent the franchise, with San Diego holding the No. 3 overall selection in the Draft.
Ummm…Jimmy Jones? Jimmy Jones? Jimmy Jones is one of the “most recognizable figures” from the Padres past? Is he kidding?
Jones was the No. 3 overall pick in the 1982 January Draft, for San Diego. He made it to the Major Leagues by 1986, when he was 22, and pitched three seasons for the Padres, twice winning nine games.
When you saw this headline who else was thinking Dick Williams and Randy Jones? I mean…I’ll give them Woody (giggity), but Jimmy Jones?
Did Corey edit it?
I don’t see the “most” part now?

Isn't it enough to know that I ruined a pony making a gift for you? ◔ヮ◔
