Rodriguez climbs out of his sick bed to win the game. "“I'm still a little excited,” he said. “They have me taking five pills a day. I'm not quite 100 percent yet, but I am OK.”"
Hoffman recorded his first save with the Brewers. Hoffman has given the Brewers two mulligans so far. Once when they played Hell's Bells in Spring Training and two days ago when they played it in a non save situation. Hoffman said they didn't play it loud enough last night. He's got so many rules, that the Brewers don't seem to care about.

so scottie and myself are thinking about changing the name of our blog

away from Well Below the Mendoza Line, mainly because it has recently come to our attention that it sucks.

once we get a new name we are going to do a total site revamp and will relaunch.

any suggestions on names? you guys are my funny bank, and i need to make a withdrawal.

anyone catch Heater on MLB Network last night?

he basically punked Houston Street by saying he had the stuff but not the personality to be a closer. And no, he didn’t say, “a guy who used to be closing here in Denver.” He said, “Houston Street”. It was bold.

btw, I know it’s been said here before, but MLB Net. is fantastic! It has totally restored my love of the game beyond the Padres. I zone out for hours every night after work.
