And here’s Scott belting home runs. Dumb, dumb, dumb move for Arizona to send such a good player to a divisional foe that’s a game behind them in the standings.

He’s still in their system, but isn’t much of anything. If I remember correctly, the D-Bags actually made the trade when Rosales wasn’t even 100% healthy.

You need to share these stories
with Gaslamp Ball. You guys have all this information but you rarely share. When you do it’s good stuff. What’s the deal?
some of us believe that what happens at Bowling Night stays
at Bowling Night, and not to publish stories on a blog. Sorry.

I already devote
as many waking hours that I can to the Padres, I can’t be everywhere at once. That’s where you guys come in!
and all for Adrian's great charity
and he’s such a nice guy, who by the way, bowls right handed! I asked him about it and he said he does everything right handed except hit and throw, there, there’s your tidbit.
by kdukat on Apr 28, 2009 7:08 PM PDT up reply actions
he did not elaborate but that is what
he said. He also got all the way out of the car at the end of the night to walk around and open the car door for his wife, not too many men do that EVER.

See tidbits like this would make
great fanposts. You just string a few tidbits together and you’ve got some great stuff.
too much effort, I actually was writing on
my personal blog from ST every day and that took a lot of time.
by kdukat on Apr 28, 2009 7:14 PM PDT up reply actions
But I will try to be better in the future
it’s really nothing exciting and I would prefer that I have someone’s permission before I write them on a blog.
by kdukat on Apr 28, 2009 7:15 PM PDT up reply actions
If it's just fun stuff
that others would find interesting like “Adrian bowls right handed” that’s harmless and fun. Anyway, think about it, that’s all I’m saying.
All right, all right. Maybe I will do
one with brief sentences like twitters that recap those experiences mid season or something when I have more than just one night to talk about. I did post my Celebrity Pour pics last year, though, if you don’t remember. I did one then.

Kouzmanoff on his usual pace of 18-25 walks in 600 PA's
Kouzmanoff will probably never be a selective hitter, in fact, he seems to get worse as his career goes on. In his first at bat tonight he swung at three pitches out of the strike zone. Unless a miracle occurs and this trend is reversed, he will never approach the kind of OPS numbers which justify his bat (as a third bagger) being in a lineup day in and day out. Ultimately, I see him as a corner infielder utilityman.

Coud Hairston get more play?
especially with Giles hitting .175. Thanks. That is all.
Giles
will hit better if given more time.
Hairston and Gerut’s career numbers show that it’s better if they face left and right handed pitchers, respectively. Hairston seems to do better when not playing every day.
I say don’t mess with what’s working.
by Zach (maestro876) on Apr 28, 2009 11:00 PM PDT up reply actions
I'm sure you're right.
But with Hairston hitting like this, he could give Giles and Headley days off.
Giles is 38 and has rested just one games this year. I wouldn’t mind seeing him rest 15.
Headley has played in every game.
I think they want Headley to play every game.
They want him to develop. I’d think they’ll wait a bit to give him a rest. Especially when he’s hitting pretty well like right now.
Giles they occasionally rest against really tough lefties. I imagine if we run up against Randy Johnson or perhaps Kershaw again, they’ll give him a break.
