Padres Jersey Concept

Sweet looking jersey concept over at The Sacrifice Bunt. Dumps blue as the primary color and replaces it with brown.

I'd like to go back to brown too

and even though those look nice, I got to have the yellow and orange. I’d just like to go back to ’84 era.

All they really did was palette swap all instances of navy blue with brown, and all instances of light blue with sand. They “designed” nothing, because all type treatments and the look are exactly what they are now, just a different color.

The suggestion to remove outlines is subjective, and personally I preferred the Dodgers jerseys with the white outlines, and would object to the Padres following suit. Because the lack of outlines makes the Dodgers road jerseys look like the difference between paying for an authentic jersey and a cheap replica jersey.

I don’t object to a brown scheme, but would prefer ALL teams to stick with white/team name at home, and gray/city name on the road. Too many teams have so many alternative jerseys, which I understand is done to sell merchandise, but it’s so diluted at this point.

No wonder nobody likes you, Tuttle... everything's a (Pujols) damn debate.
