I know that the minute i post this someone else will have done the same, but since neither i nor anyone else on here can survive without one, here goes.
i tried to just post it but it told me i didnt have enough words. now thats just silly. i could just babble up here for a minute. i could proclaim my jealousy of jbox and dex and the fact that they got to hang with the HAIR (Scan).
but maybe i'll just say go Padres, let's be above .500 for the first time in exactly one million years.

Yeah, I took a break last year....
After being compared to kids when Tec and I were going back and forth, I decided I didn’t need to be “moderated”.

Too early to call
This is only the 2nd game i’ve watched this year….but so far, so-so. He’s no Matty V, but then again, who is? I can see it getting better as the season goes on and he and Mud get more comfortable with each other…..right now, it seems like Mud is taming his act a bit while he feels out his new partner.

Trying to give him the benefit of the doubt and not compare him to Matty V, but it’s hard not to. I keep waiting for him to acknowledge one of Mud’s jokes and he just goes quiet.

I think what you guys might see him missing is being a "fan" and also rooting for the Padres as well
Matty V had grown into a Padres fan and was heavily slanted towards good things for them, he wasn’t the neutral play by play men you normally hear…if you ever listened to him call games on Fox, he was more neutral and didn’t root for on both sides. I think he is still that neutral play by play guy and of course, hasn’t learned all the Muddisms yet, but I do hear him making jokes about him eating and stuff like Matt did. I kind of get his voice confused sometimes with Steve Quis, but personality is different.

I think you're probably right
The guy does have big shoes to fill, at least in my opinion, so I’m trying to give it time. They have to get used to each other, and it’s probably way too early to be making any kind of judgment call.

Yeah, I don't know if I described it right, you could just tell Matty V was biased towards the Padres
Mark Neely is doing the typical neutral play by play guy thing but he did just get excited on that one. I can tell he’s a pro and is learning about the team

It depends on what you mean by who is on it at any one time. Often I just read and observe and don't post anything
and I don’t thnk it knows that, it only knows when people post something, so it wouldn’t count me as just an observer.

OK, after 6 innings of tipping free beers at the Western Metal bar, Dex and Jbox just came stumbling over to our DVT studios. After Quis gave them a tour of the offices, he brought them into the studio and all hell has broken loose. Jbox stumbled into Dex, who then fell over onto on of the cameras here, starting a chain reaction of falling cameras and crashing equipment. The studio engineers are trying to reassemble the stage, but it may be a lost cause. If Postgame does not air tonight you will know why. Also, if a request for donations goes out to all GLB members, it is to help pay for the broken equipment. The only good news is that neither Jbox or Dex injured any fingers in the alcohol induced landslide so their blogging abilities should be unaffected.

Too bad the lineup doesn't work out for it this inning
But it woulda been sweet to get Sandoval up there with 2 outs, nobody on, and a 5 run lead so that Moreno could “make him move his feet”.
Some of the recaps I heard about what he did in spring training vs The Friar are just ricockulous. Supposedly, he got brushed back and had to hit the dirt….then he did a couple push-ups before standing back up. That’s on top of his antics whenever he steps in the box AND him flipping his bat towards the Friar dugout after hitting a longball.
