Spring Training Game Thread: 3/31, Padres vs. Brewers

Game is being televised on Channel 4. I putting this up 20 minutes late, I swore someone would have put up a game thread in the fanpost, but no.

I'm gonna catch up here on my DVR, I'm still in the first inning.

I like the way new Channel 4 guy, Mark Neely holds his microphone so delicately. I haven't seen a microphone held that gently since Bob Barker on the Price is Right.

I'm gonna go flirt with Jenny Cavnar on twitter. Meanwhile you guys talk about the game in this here thread.

He also says we may be on the verge of acquiring another pitcher.

The maroon jacket is simply my way of paying respect to the man who pioneered broadcasting in San Diego and put the Channel 4 news team on the map… the immortal Ron Burgundy. I salute you, sir. It is the charge of all of us at Channel 4 to carry on the torch of journalistic excellence that he ignited, and to provide San diego with news reporting that is compelling and rich.

Either that or I just got a great deal on it when PSA went out of business and was having their fire sale on flight attendant attire.
