WBC, Peavy on the hill tonight

Sure, Peavy will be on the mound tonight for the USA against Puerto Rico (sounds like a pretty interesting matchup)... but according to the World Baseball Classic website, I will not be able to watch - because it's on ESPN Deportes. Is this some scheme to try to get me to buy that MLB internet tv or what?

I don't even know if I can listen to this game on the radio? Does anyone know what the deal is? Any suggestion/discussion would be helpful - if tv/radio are unavailable, i hope someone is posting updates on gaslampball (i can always depend on glb)

Peavy is getting rocked

No surprise there……every BIG GAME same story. 5-0 in the bottom of the 2nd runners on 2nd and 3rd with only 1 out.

Bell

went 1 IP and gave up 1 run on a ball Adam Dunn should have caught in RF. It’s currently 7-1 in the top of the 7th.

Wow, Peavy really gave it up today...

How was Bell’s velocity? last time it was way low

not with that attitude are we

the pads need to start developing pitchers like cliff lee. That guy knows how to win ballgames. We don’t need anymore of these flashy strikeout pitchers

Can you explain to me

How a pitcher that doesn’t hit and gives up over 4 runs per 9 IP wins ball games for his team?

1-10-DEN 18 (9:52) (Shotgun) 6-J.Cutler pass short right intended for 19-E.Royal INTERCEPTED by 93-L.Castillo (95-S.Phillips) at DEN 18. 93-L.Castillo to DEN 14 for 4 yards (62-C.Wiegmann). 6-J.Cutler pouts ob to DEN 25 for 11 yards.

Might want to send that sarcasm application kit back.

Is it solely based on Lee winning 22 games last year or did you hear someone make a comment about Cliff Lee compared to Peavy or something?

Your sarcasm seems pretty irrelevant.
