Best seats for WBC?
So I want tickets during the day at Petco. Any pointers for good seats that aren't totally expensive? It'll be at one o'clock so I don't want the sun in my eyes but also don't want it to be really cold in the shade and I always get the cheap seats so I don't really know. I hate this seventy word count thing. really. a lot. really hate it.
Thanks

Not to hot not too cold eh?
Im not sure there is a perfect “goldilocks” seat but depending on the weather the south(?) side (odd numbered sections) are usually out of direct sun, at least in your eyes. Field Reserve is what i would recommend.
Click the sections to see a shot of what your view will be like. you can get a fairly good idea there.

actually now that i look at those pics
i may have it backwards…i just remember getting the worst sunburn on the other side. Maybe thats because i passed out in the sun though.
hopefully someone else can help you out.

right field gets alot of warm sun
but can be breeeeeezy. there are a single row of seats on the very top of the stairwell by the foul pole where you will be able to jump up and down without getting in anyones way but you are not in the crowd. Did I mention that breeze. Lower down is not as cold and the “porch” is a great place to seat for decent money and still feel part of the game.
Left field is protected from the wind much more but gets nooo sun, I was just as cold.
Under the scoreboard is fun except for the crook in your neck trying to read it. Sometmes you can get seats overlooking our bullpen though, which is a nice quirk.
I would sign up for innings 3-9 on the western metal supply co building balcony. You have to watch the first 3 innings in the bar but if you stay in line you can be first out and grab the corner seats that overhang the field. Waitress service too.
Have fun, don’t forget to post the piccys!

After looking at ticket prices
the best seat is the one in front of the TV. I really wanted to see the WBC but for what they were charging, I’d rather stay home. I can boo the Cubans from the couch haha.

Yeah, tv's probably the best but I went yesterday and saw Japan vs. Cuba.
Tickets were mighty expensive and people need to learn to sit in their seats because my view was obstructed by people for the first 7 innings til I decided to move. But it was different from a Padres game and SO much more exciting for some reason. People were so loud and enthusiastic about EVERYTHING. Plus, it was awesome to see Ichiro and Dice-K and Fukudome.
