So far, our projected 2,3, and 4 starters have combined for allowing 15 hits, 11 earned runs, and 5 homers in 16 innings. The good news: only 2 BB in that span. Throw in Peavy's rocky session against Canada on Saturday, and there's still lots of "rust to shake off".
I kinda figured the pitching staff would be a continual work in progress, but it's too bad the middle infield could be a glaring problem going into the season, seeing as how there were some free agent bargains out there in the off season market.
