Coach Kentera interviews Bob Scanlan on XX Sports Radio (MP3).
- Scan thinks the 5 man rotation is the way to go.
- He also thinks Cliff Floyd will give you quality at bats from the left side, but hopes that he doesn't fall victim to not getting much playing time.
- Houston offered Randy Wolf 3 years $27m but turned it down for 1 year $5m with the Dodgers.
- Moorad is a good move long term.
- Scan had a great time at the Caribbean World Series. The fans are very passionate with face painting, samba music and flags.

The offer from the Astros
Last month, Ken Rosenthal reported that it was the Astros that pulled back the 3-year, $25.5m offer, actually just before Wolf was going to accept it.
Bad timing for Wolf.
