Moneyball: The Movie
Not sure how you get a movie out of this, but hopefully it's more fun to watch than the teams built on the concept.

Sounds like a Billy Beane biopic
That’s what most of the book was about anyways. Beane’s superstar potential as an athlete. Then him being GM will probably be made up of the stories of his favorite players, like Swisher and the fat catcher.
