Why hasn't anyone attended any of these games?
If I lived in southern California, I would have been so hammered on Tecate at that game, celebrating wild-style every homerun he hit.
If I lived outside of Southern California
I’d make outrageous claims about attending sporting events near me and the amount of alcohol I would consume.

I just have never seen a baseball game in Mexico and I was hoping to vicariously attend one through a fellow Padres fan’s experience. My false bravado and swashbuckling sentiment appaently aren’t taken kindly in these parts. Adios amigos.

A war zone?
In the last year, I’ve spent over a month a half in remote parts of Mexico, and I’m still alive to tell you about it. You don’t need iron balls to attend a baseball game in Mexicali.

The mayor of Cancun was murdered by drug lords the day he became mayor. Most of Baja is run by drug lords. Remote parts of Mexico is different than Mexicali which is one of the major drug and immigrant ports into the USA.
