- There is no set timeline for when Moores will hand over complete control. Moores will be around for several years.
- Moorad looks forward to see the analysis the Front Office has compiled on Peavy.
- "Teams cycle up and they cycle down" The Padres have been cycling down. Moorad doesn't think it'll be that hard to turn the Padres around by reconstructing the payroll.
- The Padres are not going to operate in $40m's for more than just this year.
- Moorad isn't coming in with a strong ideas for change, he's keeping an open mind and will assess the team most of the season.
